Every now and then you come across a photo that you know you’ll love forever. This is one of them. It catches heart. Technically, it’s not perfect. But to me, it is. I love that their bodies are posed in the same direction, their mouths – the same smile. I couldn’t have posed them like this if I tried and I wouldn’t in a million years get them to do this again. That’s why I adore it.

it’s been a beautiful/rainy week. While the sun was shining we spent every moment possible outside, and when the rain came in – lots of coloring and games…and robot making.
Gabe LOVES his friend Tuk. After playing with him, Gabe always makes the statement “Tuk’s my ‘baborite fwend”. I hope to watch these two grow up together.
and this one…THIS one is EVERYWHERE. He’s making me a nervous wreck as his favorite game is now “Pull up on the kitchen chairs” There’s usually a sad ending to this game.
(I know! If my three year old won’t smile at the camera – just put a bag over his head!) 😉
…”Look Mom! One hand!”
…as mentioned before: His fun new game usually ends in tears.

Over Memorial Day we headed out to Carlton Landing for a bit of play and relaxation, but mostly to photograph this beautiful family! To celebrate Kirk and Danna, their kids wanted to document the entire family at one of their favorite spots: Lake Eufaula. Here are just a handful of shots we caught that morning.
