Party for Two {Oklahoma City Children Photographer}

This last weekend Ella and Olivia celebrated their first birthday! They played with balloons, entertained guests, sang songs and of course ate cake!!

Ella daintily ate her cake (as dainty as you can by hand) while Olivia demolished hers, at some point deciding the icing made for great pink eyeshadow. Both babies were as sweet as can be – so fun being able to capture their first birthday and to celebrate two beautiful one year olds!

My Boys

I’m pretty proud of the fact that I can call these boys mine. Both of them fill my heart with so much joy and seeing the two of them together – my heart overflows.  I took these pictures for Kevin for Father’s Day a couple of weeks ago – its not very often that we dress up, venture out to a location and actually take professional photos of the two of them together.  This time next year another little boy (we’re expecting Noah in September) will be in these photos so it was important to me to get catch these two together – in this season.

What I love best is that not one of the below photos are posed – this is exactly who they are when they’re together: laughing, kissing, exploring, snuggling. Kevin is an incredible daddy – its fun to see my boyfriend, turn husband, turn daddy in just a matter of a few years. He loves being a father and is passionate about fatherhood – you can see just how much on his blog, DadLife.net.

Thank you, Kevin for being the best daddy you can be to Gabe. I’m excited to see our little boys grow, learn, and become passionate men of God under your love.

Cousins {Oklahoma City Children Photographer}

Logan and Aidan had grown so much since the last time I saw them. At first I barely even recognized Logan! This time they brought along their cousins, Emma and Hudson.  We played on the beach and somehow barely escaped a coming storm. The boys threw rocks and splashed in the water while Miss Emma didn’t like the idea of getting dirty – can’t say I blame her – what girl would want to ruin a perfectly cute dress?

Avery {Oklahoma City Newborn Photographer}

Some of you may recall the birth session I documented a couple of weeks ago.  Well, here is beautiful little Avery all dolled up! Even though it had been just days since I first met her, she had already changed so much! It’s not cliché and it is not exaggerated when others shake their head in understanding and say, “they grow so fast.” They do.

Brooke, so fun to come to your home and photograph both of your babies – they were a dream. And Max, thank you for your kind comment on the last post. Being able to provide you with just a little glimpse of your home is a heartfelt reminder for why I am a photographer. Serving you both is just a small return for all that you sacrifice for our country.
