Do you notice a trend in all of these photos? Annie didn’t stop smiling. I was so in love. I could have followed her around with my camera all day!
Right now the weather in OKC has dropped from a beautiful 80 degree day to a winter weather advisory (what?). So while it gets really really cold outside the next few hours – you can just look at these cute photos of Annie over and over. They’ll warm your heart (awww!).
A lot of maternity session lately – which equals a lot of babies coming soon!!
Carissa and Seth are expecting Baby Henley in May (love her name!) They were such a sweet couple to work with. I was a little nervous to ask that they trust me when I suggested that they sit on the floor of the greenhouse (with a handful of shoppers in the background) or when I dragged a plant cart across the location and asked them to sit on it – but they did! I love when my clients let me run with creativity and bit and trust that I’m not THAT crazy!
Today is a cold, rainy and dreary day in Oklahoma City…but it wasn’t just a few days ago. Just a few days ago, it looked and felt like Spring! So I think rather than looking out my cold, gray window, I will happily edit away on these bright photos instead!
Such a sweet maternity session with this family! I love the reminder that with Spring comes new life 🙂 I can’t wait to meet Baby Janssen in just a few short weeks!

While my focus in photography may be newborn, children and families. It is SO refreshing to step out and photograph seniors. BradyDawn and Tanner combined their session this last Saturday. The weather was gorgeous all day long…until the exact hour of our session. That’s when good ol’ Oklahoma pulled it’s favorite move. The wind was crazy. The temperature dropped, and it was cold. You would never guess that we were all shivering through the session. I’m loving how these have turned out.
