Everyday Life Week 22 {Oklahoma City Photographer}

Noah has taken off this week – Literally. He has mastered crawling and moved on to pulling himself up – on to everything! He loves it! Except for the times you leave the room and he can’t quite follow fast enough OR he’s pulled up onto the toy chest for the 3rd time in an hour and cries because he hasn’t figured out how to sit back down. As busy as he is, I LOVE the crawling stage.

I’m cheating this week and using a few Iphone pics to document my big boy who isn’t as willing participate in my Everyday Life project.

We went to Lake Eufaula over Memorial Day. This is where Gabe met his “fwend”. They played HARD for hours! I’d like to report that Gabe crashed that night after his much needed bath, but he didn’t. His adrenaline was going strong at 11:00pm. ouch.

He starts Summer School in a couple of weeks so we let him pick out his first backpack. Lightning McQueen, of course!

Jack and Caitlin {Oklahoma City Maternity Photographer}

It’s so refreshing to work with a couple that is 1. completely in love and 2. I don’t have to pose! Caitlin and Jack were that couple. I would literally guide them to a general location and just start snapping away. SO much more is said through the photographs when a couple really embraces each other during their shoot. It’s as if I, as the photographer, disappear and am quietly able to capture a snapshot of life. Just look at their session, their admiration for each other and anticipation for the arrival just pops out of their photos! Love it!

Jack and Caitlin, I can’t wait to capture life with your little one in just a few short weeks!

Sunset Session {Oklahoma City Family Photographer}

Ryan and Catherine have been friends of ours for probably 5 years. We used to go to the same church, and Kevin and Ryan worked at the same company. In my mind Ira, who is now 6, should still be the little 2 year old running around our legs. I’m not quite sure how he got to be 6.

We did our session at sunset out at the lake, finishing up with the boys splashing in the water.

London {Oklahoma City Newborn Photographer}

London was such a princess. She was an absolute doll and a breeze to photograph.  She only argued a few poses (but I suppose every lady should voice her opinion when she wants – especially since she has two older brothers she’ll be bossing around)

She has an incredibly beautiful mural of the beach painted on her wall. Her mom asked me to capture London in front of the mural (um. awesome idea.) but wait, it gets better…Just as we were wrapping up the session, the door bell rings. FedEx delivery man drops off the smallest, sweetest, mermaid outfit. And in perfect timing, London dozed back to sleep and we caught a few snapshots in her room…full costume, of course! 😉
