Cutey Vincent is one of my Baby Plan babies – that means I get to photograph him 4 times a year. These are always my favorite sessions. I love capturing the little ways they change and how their personality evolves in just 4 months.

Lydian Anne gave me so many little smiles. I have never in my life seen a two week old baby smile in response to someone but I SWEAR to you – when her daddy talked to her she would grin the biggest grin: from ear to ear. You can see for yourself in the image below! I promise everytime he would say her name she smiled that big – it was like his voice tickled her heart.
We wrapped her session up with a quick outdoor shot. It was important for her mommy to get a picture of Lydian in the baby blanket and Christening gown that once belonged to her. They were handmade by Lydian’s grandmother. I love incorporating such heirlooms into newborn sessions. There is just something so magically about blending the past with the present.

Eli just turned 6 months. People always ask me what is my favorite age to photograph – While I honestly love them all. I think about 6-10 months is my very favorite. I always joke that this age is “Old enough to smile at me, but they can’t run away from me yet” 🙂
Here’s happy little Eli:
Whitley just turned 18 months. She is sweet with a little bit of sassy; independent, but still wanted mommy nearby. I love the shot of her with the kitten. They nonchalantly followed us around during the photoshoot and Whitley was a fan (as she was in her 9 month session too!)
