Taylor was all grins for her one year old session. And so fast! One of her favorite games that session was to sit her down for the picture and then race to see who would win – the photographer or the baby. 😉 But just look at the pure joy on her face! And those little dimples? love.
How cute is she?? Amelie is one of my “Baby Plan” babies – so I get to document her 1st year. You guys. She was NOT feeling this session. She wanted to nap. She wanted to eat. She wanted to do anything BUT sit and give me cute smiles – but LOOK! look at all the cute shots we walked away with! I only say this to encourage. There are so many times I hear mom say at the end of the session say “I’ll be happy if just one turned out” or ask “did we get any smiles?” and we always do. Always.
Such a sweet time with this family. As a mom to 3 boys (ages 7, 5 and 8 months) its so intriguing to me to do a session with another family of boys who are just a few years ahead of me. It’s like a little glimpse into my future and you better believe I was taking mental notes 😉 And the last shot of mom with her boys – oh my heart.
Well now that Jack is almost one, I should probably post his birth and newborn session, right? I don’t share many birth sessions here on my blog – I feel like that is such an intimate moment for the family that I like to leave that decision up to them. Could that hurt my business? eh. probably. But I feel like it’s what is best for me and mostly my clients. Addison just started her Freshman year at Oklahoma Baptist University (My Alma mater. Go with Ka-Rip! ;)) I actually met Addison years and years ago – the year I graduated from OBU. In fact, I actually was her BABY SITTER once! She is a beautiful girl with an even more beautiful heart. I can’t wait to see what big things she’ll do in the next few years.
