…and I’ll cry if I want to!
I’ve learned that when it comes to smash cakes, babies either LOVE it or HATE it. There is no in-between. Rori hated. it. She wanted nothing to do with it and the sooner it was off of her hands – the better!
Luckily we had a lot more smiles before the introduction of that dreaded cake!

I love posting individual sneak peeks for each family – even for the mini sessions…but being as how I am knee deep in editing this little post is the most I can do! Here are some of my favorite shots from October’s mini sessions. I have photographed all four of these beautiful families in the past and absolutely love seeing their faces each time to document another year!
Some of these I’ve already shared on my Facebook page – but they are just too cute! I couldn’t leave them off the blog!
Jessica called me with a vision for her family pictures that involved horses and the sunset…yes, please! I love having an outlet to add that extra bit of creativity to my sessions. Of course any session with an animal is going to be more of a challenge – but these sessions are always so much more rewarding. Lincoln (3) and Anna Rose (1 1/2) did an incredible job and we walked away with SO many gorgeous shots from this session! I wish I could show them all here, but I have to hold a few back for the reveal of the gallery 🙂
Mason was one of the most easy-going 3 year old’s I’ve ever met. He was so sweet and did a great job at smiling for a crazy lady with a camera (something most 3 year olds despise…including my own!). With that smile, those eyes, and his sweet demeanor, Mason is going to be a heartbreaker!
