The Whole Family {Oklahoma City Photographer}

Such a beautiful family – inside and out. Don’t they look like they should be on a magazine cover? I love how incredible their wardrobe goes together. We had their session at a local tree farm. The lighting was perfect. The weather was amazing…but poor little Jett had the stomach bug and was not feeling it that night. But he braved through it and we ended up with some great shots for this group.

Jessi and Mary have been best friends since the 5th grade. They are more like sisters than friends. Gorgeous.

“Oh Missmis Tree” {Oklahoma City Photographer}

“Oh Missmis Tree OH MISSMIS TREE! You are beautiful and your branches!!” -Gabe, 3 yrs

Oh Christmas Tree is Gabe’s choice for favorite carol this year. It has miraculously replaced Jingle Bells. I would have picked about 20 other songs before Oh Christmas Tree…but that’s just me.

I’m a bit behind on my Everyday Life posts. It’s looking a lot like my laundry these days: there’s a huge pile to sort through, but that stack just keeps getting bigger so I choose to ignore it. I’ll post a huge gallery of my missing October and November weeks once my busy season finally dies down!

For now here’s a few of my traditional Jammie shots in front of the tree. I don’t care if they’re 16 and 18 – I will still be making them put on PJs and pose in front of the Christmas tree!

Fall Family Session {Oklahoma City Photographer}

Such a fun family session. They were brave enough to get all 3 kids up and ready and met me at 8am so the lighting was gorgeous. Chris is a co-owner of Keep it Local, an awesome company here in OKC that if you don’t know about you should!

I love that they wanted to get a few shots of everyone in their Thunder gear! Lukas even made sure to bring along Rumble. SO cute!

Staying indoors {Oklahoma City Baby Photographer}

One of my favorite locations to shoot is the client’s home. It’s always a risk. Usually it’s a location I’ve never shot at before. I have no idea what the lighting will be like and I can’t really preplan my poses. In fact I may even show up at 8am and ring the wrong doorbell (yep. that happened. sorry neighbors!) But I love how these sessions always turn out. It’s the feelings and connections that make a photograph so special – and home is probably one of the best places to relax and capture who you truly are at this time.

Annie just turned one and her family just moved into their beautiful new home so we had our session indoors! It was lovely. There were so many cute shots, I had such a hard time choosing just a few for the sneak peek…I may trickle a few more out on my facebook page as I keep editing these…
