At just 12 days old Isla is already stunningly gorgeous. You can tell she is going to look just like big sister Madelyn. Beautiful girls.
I first met Carter when she was just days old. Now she’s a squishy baby with a gorgeous smile and cheeks that you could kiss for days! What a difference 6 months makes. It was an incredible day – almost 70 degrees in mid-January so we headed out to a local park and caught a few smiles.
We also included a few Valentine pics as well…Carter found the giant heart far tastier than the Valentine candy.
Sometimes it’s fun to include a Blooper. Balancing on your tush and smiling at the same time is just hard work.

Some of you may have been following my “Everyday Life” Posts on the blog: Last year, my New Year’s Resolution was to take more photos of my own babies that caught glimpses of our “everyday”. (Some months I was more disciplined than others!) It’s so easy to get caught up in laundry, school work, preparing dinner – and leave the camera on the shelf. I decided that’s not what I want to remember during these sweet years. This year, I want to help you do the same!
I’ve had a number of questions in the past asking if I would ever teach a photography class for parents who want to take better pictures of their children. I know many of you have DSLRs (or maybe just got one for Christmas!) but haven’t taken the time to learn how to use it. And so this year will be the first year I offer a workshop!
The class will be limited to 7.

2012 has been an incredible year full of little blessings made up by you and your families! I’ve had such a fun year photographing some of the sweetest, precious, adorable, breath-taking, funniest, captivating and beautiful clients. I mean it when I say I LOVE my clients. So many of you have opened your homes, hearts and family to me. What an incredible gift to be able to capture your babies grow up! It fills my heart and is a gift that I do not take lightly. I thought a little contest would be a fun way to showcase all of your beautiful families as well as give back to you!

Just when you didn’t think Sara and Matt could get any cuter – they added Emmett! Emmett was just perfect. He had a beautiful head full of hair and eye lashes that went on for miles. Congratulations Matt and Sara and your beautiful baby boy!
