What a busy busy fall it’s been. Sadly, that left the poor little blog to fall to the bottom of the priority list 🙁 That leaves A LOT of catching up to do at this little corner of the internet. We’ll start with a session of two sweet little guys that I’ve photographed since Big Brother was just days old. It was a cold cold day in Oklahoma, so we moved the shoot indoors. I loved how it turned out!
I’m usually not much for themed sessions. But a few weeks ago, I HAD to buy a canvas that said “I’ll eat you up I love you so” quoting the book Where the Wild Things Are. So I knew I had to create some photos to hang next to it 😉
This was about a 15 minute session. I tagged it on at the end of my mini sessions and I had to work FAST because my light was leaving me. In hindsight, I’m so glad we got started so late, I feel like the color of the evening picks up the mood of the book. Love how it turned out and I especially love my favorite models that will put up with my silly mom ideas!
Sometimes people ask me what is the most challenging age to photograph. My answer is always 2. But with this session, Ann proved me wrong! She is so sweet natured and has such a tender heart. It was such a fun evening to follow her around and capture a little bit of her personality. She’s always one of my favorites to photograph!
I’ve been photographing Athena since she was just 3 months old. They just moved into a new home and wanted to document the move – a few at the old house and few at the new. It was such a fun session. Athena is so much fun – vibrant and full of life! Here are just a few that we caught for them.
Jonah was a little older than the typical “newborn session” baby. Which really just means the baby is much more alert and not as big of a fan of the poses you see in newborn sessions where the baby is just under 2 weeks. But I’m so glad his mommy still called. These are still precious moments in their life. (plus they give great eye contact when they get just a wee bit older 😉 )
