Caroline’s Newborn Session.. Oklahoma City Newborn Photographer

I am almost 2 months into my maternity leave and just one week away from meeting our little guy and launching our family back into the sleepless world of having a new baby at home. As excited as I am for that season, I am also REALLY missing photography…so I’ll just keep looking at and posting past sessions that I have YET to blog to tie me over 😉

I have started booking for the Spring! March 5th is my first day back. So if you are due during that time or would like to get your spring session in, be sure to email me to get your session saved on my calendar!

Now I’ll leave you with Caroline’s newborn session from this Summer.  I’ll be photographing her 8 month session soon and can’t wait to see how much she’s grown!

Oklahoma morning .. Oklahoma City Family Photographer

such a sweet family. I had a lot of fun shooting this session for them. Mason and my oldest son, Gabe, were buds in preschool together. Since then they have moved all the way to Ohio, but I love that they made time in their Oklahoma visit to see me and let me snap a few shots.

Elaina.. Oklahoma City Children Photographer

Looking back at these pictures, I think Elaina’s  1 year old session was one of my favorites of 2015. Her parents incorporated old family photos and jewelry and then we finished the session with a smash cake – with cake that was far more fun to smash than eat 😉

Summer sun and ice cream parlors.. Oklahoma City Photographer

It seems like forever ago that we shot this session – we shot this back in July. A HOT Oklahoma July afternoon. Now there’s snow on the ground outside and this gorgeous family has since added a sweet little boy to the mix. But good news: Now that the holidays have settled and I am on maternity leave with nothing left to do but wait on baby, this blog should see a lot more love in the next few weeks.

Baby Rolls and Pearls.. Oklahoma City Baby Photographer

Baby Rolls and Pearls. They just go well together. Especially for Caitlynn’s 6 month session.

She’s one of the sweet babies that I’ve had the honor of photographing her birth. There’s just something special to me about photographing the first few moments of a baby’s breath – and then to capture mom and dad seeing that sweet face for the first time – it really doesn’t get any better than that perfect moment. Being able to photograph these families for the months and years to follow is a treasure.
