She is just too precious!
I love doing sessions inside my clients’ homes. 1. Because it allows me to catch a glimpse of their life together and 2. ALL of my clients have THE CUTEST NURSERY. everyone of them! I love it! I need to secretly start taking photos of their nurseries just to get future ideas for...

I loved this session so much that I just can’t help but show a few more frames…
And a little photo tip for the mamas: Did you know the earliest hours of the morning and the latest hours of the evening are best for lighting? This was an 8am session - see the sun glowing through...

Little Miss Hattie just turned one. She was so sweet and talkative and very quick to offer a “hi” accompanied by a wave.
And what better way to celebrate your first birthday than with a tutu…
…and a cupcake?
The next photo makes me laugh. I love how quickly toddlers can go from laughing to crying to laughing...

It’s the first week of August and the hottest time of the year in Oklahoma. What better way to enjoy the summer than a naked baby and some lemonade?
I have the pleasure of being able to capture little Athena’s first year. Here she is at 6 months:
Isn’t she divine? Her little face and bright blue...

Little Theo. What a joy he was to meet!
I know I say this every time I have a shoot with an 8 month old - but I absolutely adore this age! They are so excited about life! Theo was so full of wonder and giggles and excitement in showing off some of his newest “tricks”...

While I was vacuuming the house the other day, Gabe decided he should help by standing on the very tips of his toes, grabbing the bag of powdered sugar off of the pantry shelf, turning it upside down and running through the living room at a dead sprint…creating a mini-winter wonderland of powdered sugar for...

Gabe LOVES the water! Scratch that - Gabe loves the hose.
Almost to a fault - in fact, this is his “I-can’t-turn-the-faucet-on-by-myself” fake cry. pathetic.
I wish I could say he sits happily in his pool and plays in the water like a perfect gentleman should…but who am I kidding? He’s a toddler. AND he’s a boy....

Remember this session? Me too. {sigh.} It’s gone.
Last week while wrapping up the final post processing details on that very session my computer froze. I didn’t think anything of it. I grumbled to myself, something along the lines of “I don’t have time for this” (ha!) and restarted my computer. Mac however, disagreed and instead...

On Friday I met Karri, Jack and the newest member of their family, Katie.
This little lady gave me a run for my money. It seems no one told her that there was going to be a “party” going on at her house…who wants to sleep and miss out on all the action, right?
So while mom...

This weekend I had the pleasure of meeting beautiful Athena. She is truly strikingly gorgeous.
Athena loved being held by Daddy…
…and lounging in the lawn under the summer breeze.
I love the story behind her yellow dress. It was made by her great grandmother, originally meant for her dad before they knew he was a “he.” So...
